Filmmaker. Photographer. Husband. Human Person.

And where it started, well—I just remember this feeling of being utterly infatuated..

They weren’t fiction-fueled characters; they were people, real people. I knew them. I was in their houses, their towns, alongside them in their everyday lives. Their desires became my must-haves. Their troubles, my own predicaments. Even after the slew of credits crawled up into the rafters, I left the movie theater forever affected. It was all a magic trick to me. As a child, films were not a mere few hours of entertainment; they were experiences that I carried long after, ones that ignited what I am so passionate about doing today.

Since then, I have dedicated myself to developing my skills as a both a storyteller and seeker, having now worked on projects around the globe. Whether it’s been capturing a pride of lions on-location in the Botswana jungle or actors on a sound stage, every story is as unique as it is told. My goal is to share those messages with thoughtful perspective to ultimately inspire a fresh way of thinking. The ability to implement change with our stories is what it’s all about, and it’s important now more than ever.

Michael has worked with various clients including Disney, Visit Whitsundays, Yazzio and Men’s Health. He holds a BFA in Radio-Television-Film from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as an MFA in Screenwriting from Emerson College.
